Escape Fort Wintertide

A summer ago, a forest caught fire next to Fort Wintertide, a major park and campground. The fire spread to the park, and damaged a section of it, and so the park has been abandoned for the winter due to the damage.

You, a skier, have gone on a skiing trip. You are with your friend, Bob, who in his recklessness on the slopes, has broken their leg and damaged your equipment. You decided to shelter in the nearby park, Fort Wintertide. Unfortunately, a freak storm is approaching, and you don’t have time to get out before it strands and freezes you and Bob. You'll need to get rescued, but there are no rangers at the park to assist.

Thankfully, there are ships passing by the fort and radios in the cabin. You'll need to turn on the 4 coal generators to get the radios working, though, which will require searching the park for coal.

However, as you traverse the abandoned park, it becomes clear that this wilderness is not quite abandoned as one might think.
